Incandescence

One
Strides purposefully through the bellowing crowd,
Stately amidst the chafe and scrape
Of her truth against their certitude.

One
Sidles gently to their sealed, adjacent reason,
Her chest bared to the heedless darts
Of their blind, bewildered fusillades.

One
Awaits in wonder the fiery bursting forth,
An ardent bloom in gathering light
Of the jointed wills of God and nature.

Each
Faces east.
