We let the pups into the Big Bed last night. Lucy was in heaven. Linus wanted his space. Jury's still out for Beloved, but I think it's not insignificant that we were allowed to sleep all the way to the ringing alarm this morning, for the first time since the pups arrived!
And it was sweet. :-)

It's not insignificant at all. Dogs like to sleep with their pack, and they do not like to soil their den. Content dogs in the den sleep soundly. :-)
And there's nothing like a warm, fuzzy companion to make people feel better too.
Smokey's had a relapse with his knee. We still aren't sure about the long-range treatment plan. Ask the pups to remember him when they do the "Now I lay me down to sleep" routine.
Mmmmmm.... it does sound nice. It can be a challenge with two, but all that love.
